BEXLEY: Murder inquiry into mystery body in recycling

A murder investigation has begun after a body was found at a recycling depot in Crayford.

The body of a man found at Viridor's Materials Recycling Facility in Century Wharf on Tuesday (May 13) arrived in a truckload of waste from Redditch.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder investigation by West Mercia Police.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Morgan said: "The body has been identified as that of a man from the Birmingham area.

"His next of kin have been informed. However he is not being named at this stage."
